I lost track of my days. I knew it was bound to happen, living on beach time.
So here’s a random mish-mosh overview of what the last 5 days have looked like!
-Breakfast at Grits & Grind at Rosemary Beach… salmon eggs benedict… mmmm
-Ty rented an electric skateboard thing that kept the boys happy!
-Alex left and we were sad. Love her guts.
-We got some copies of the 30A Coloring Book, which is ADORABLE and a total must if you’re bringing kiddos to the area
-Had sushi on Cinco de Mayo… oops
-Beach, pool, beach, pool, repeat
-Harbor took many naps on the beach (it makes the same sound as her sound machine 😉 )
-Popsicles at Pop Stop!
-Story learned that the more days we counted swimming as bathing, the more impressive her messy bun became
-Got lots of work done while little ones napped… all with windows open and salty air breezing in… perfection
-(Not pictured) Had dinner with my friend Stacy McQuade and her gorgeous daughters! We stuffed our faces and had delicious desserts to celebrate their family hitting the rank of Diamond with Young Living. Good girl talk. The Diva Cup was discussed in detail. HA!
-Met up with some more YL friends, the Zarubas! The Zarubas have been one of my favorite families since the moment I “met” Casey online 3 years ago. Their heart for adoption, people, and the Lord just rocks. It was so fun to be together in paradise, and with our husbands and kiddos! I am so thankful for this life and these relationships.
-More beach, more pool
-We discovered THE BEST PLACE EVER for all-you-can-eat crab legs on our very last day. It’s probably best that we didn’t discover it earlier on because I waddled out of there drunk on melted butter. It’s called Elmo’s. If you like seafood in mass quantities and a very casual atmosphere, hit it up. We’ll be back when we come again next year!
As I type this, Ty and the big kids are at the beach crab hunting with our friends the Critzes. Hunting for crabs late at night has been one of their favorite parts of the trip, so we wanted to make sure they got to do it one more time before we leave in the morning.
Story has already bawled her eyes out saying she doesn’t want to go to bed tonight because when she wakes up the trip will be over. Poor girl. I totally feel her. It’s been an amazing trip that we will never forget! Definitely one of our favorite trips this year, if not #1.
More than anything, as I reflect on this time, I feel overwhelming gratitude. The Lord has blessed us so much through Young Living that we’ve been truly able to find “wellness, purpose, and abundance” (YL’s slogan) beyond our wildest dreams. I love that it’s our job to help other people find the same wellness, purpose, and abundance that we’ve found. (In fact, we’ve gotten to get SEVERAL families started just while we’ve been here in Seaside. From our smart phones, while laying by the pool. How cool is that?)
If you are ever curious about this life and what we do, we’re so happy to share with you. Hit the contact tab and I will get back to you with information. And if you never do… that’s 100% okay… just know that you were made for freedom and you are worthy and capable of achieving it. And we’re cheering for you! It is our heart’s desire to see everyone walking in this type of freedom and able to overflow it onto others.
Okay… gotta go pack! We have a 13 hour road trip back home tomorrow!
I am sure I will come debrief our trip some more soon.
XOXO
