The Kid’s Gift Guide is here! Here are some of our favorite things!
One of my number one goals with my kids is to write the word of God on their hearts. Dwell Differently has been a helper in doing that! The temporary tattoos with the first letter of each word make memorization so, so easy (for kids and adults alike)! And the little keychains help me to remember my verse and also to remember to quiz my kiddos in the car. We’ve loved doing these memory verses as a family, and at $7 per month a subscription is such a no brainer.

I have been raving about Magnatiles for years and they’re the only toy we keep downstairs. They are an amazing toy for ALL ages (literally babies through adults… we all have fun with them). They inspire so much imagination and togetherness. So no matter who comes over, no matter what ages their kiddos are, they’re the perfect thing to pull out. I pull them out every single time people come by, and my kiddos play with them all day long. We don’t have a TV in our living spaces… just Magnatiles! We have so much fun playing with them together. We add a new set to our collection every year at Christmas, and the more Magnatiles we have, the bigger and crazier our creations get! If you’ve followed me for long, you might remember my kiddos bringing baby chicks inside to put into their “baby chick castles” 😉 We love love love Magnatiles.

One of the most asked-about items I’ve shared are my kids’ name blankets! They each have name blankets, and we have a pillow that lists all my kiddos names. They’re definitely some of my favorite things! We also give family name blankets, “Grammy blankets,” etc as gifts to family and friends and they are always treasured.

Another way to write God’s word on your hearts… dress your kids in it! “CLOTHED” in strength and dignity, anyone? 😉 We get so many compliments on the kids’ shirts when we go out and about. His Kids Company also has scripture place mats and lots of other things. They’re a must-shop for Christmas!

Kiwi Co is a monthly subscription box for kids ages 0-16. The activities come with everything they need to follow a S.T.E.A.M. model activity that is catered to their age. My kiddos have learned built robots, gone fishing, sorted and counted, learned about Peru and India and France, made marble mazes, etc… all things I likely wouldn’t have done if Kiwi Co didn’t make it so easy!

This is a gift that makes a big impact on a budget! You know how kids will take a $200 gift you bought them, and just play with the box it came in? Well I guarantee they will play with this “box” for a long time, and it’s under $35! They can color it, go inside it, and spend hours imagining all sorts of things with it. Score.
We loooooove our new trampoline that we got when we moved. Springfree trampolines are sturdier and safer than regular trampolines. We jumped on our friends’ and were sold — we had to have one! We’ve been trampoline addicts since our bigger kids were babies… we spend hours a day on it, sleep on it, eat dinner on it, draw with chalk on it, put the hose under it and get wet in the summer on it… we love trampolines! But this one is by far the best we have ever owned. Highly recommended!
We have so much fun with this play kitchen. I also love that it’s stylish and goes well with our playroom decor (tour HERE). Cheaper alternatives HERE & HERE.
We get a ton of use out of walkie talkies around here! My kids pack lunches and take off on their 4-wheelers and spend the day in trees and wandering down trails, and this is how we communicate if they need us! This set comes with 3 walkie talkies, they clip onto belts or backpacks, and they range almost 2 miles! Growing up I had a friend who lived across the street and we had walkie talkies to talk in bed at night and those are some of my fondest memories! I love that my kids are enjoying walkie talkies too.
First, mama, treat yourself to my favorite diaper bags. Twelve Little makes the best! Second, my kids each have a Twelve Little backpack and they are the cutest things! They are so durable and wipe clean easily to last years. I am pretty sure Oaks’ is full of feathers and Magnatiles.
Oaks loves this little wooden set!
This is one of my favorite things for Oaks right now! I fill it with all sorts of things — rice, noodles, beans, sand, water, dirt, toys, things to find, things to sort, all sorts of things. Search the hashtag #sensorytable on instagram and you’ll find so many fun ideas for your little ones! I need more time in the day to do them all! We have so much fun with this. Be sure to buy the table and then also these bins! They are made to fit inside it and that’s what turns it into a sensory table. There’s also a flat part that comes with the table so you can use it as a regular table as well!
Adios, strollers. The Veer is the coolest way to roll in style. We love our Veer wagon and all the attachments!

This is a perfect gift. Under $20 and will last for a long, long time. We use chalk on our driveway, on our trampoline, on our bodies, my kids make “paint” with it… we do a LOT of chalkin’ in our house, so we need a lot of chalk, and this is perfect!
The Cinemood is a portable projector that you can stream Netflix, Amazon, etc on. It also comes pre-loaded with a lot of content, including lots Disney stuff & games. It can be used on walls, on the backs of airplane seats, literally anywhere. My kids like to lay on the bottom bunk together in the bunk room and project it up onto the bottom of the top bunk. This is an especially excellent thing to have in your bag when traveling with kiddos!

I am constantly asked about this! We love our wooden calendar. My kiddos are in charge of changing it every month and it has been very instrumental in teaching the little ones the days of the week, months of the year, seasons, counting, etc! This is by far the best looking option I have found, too. It is timeless!
