Today was a good day. I feel like I’ve been starting each post that way 🙂
We started the day at the Seaside Farmer’s Market where we met up with Genevieve of Mama Natural and her fun family. We absolutely adored our time with them! We got to talk pregnancy, birth, adoption, oils, business, blogging, and everything in between while the kiddos played and we all soaked up some sunshine.
We had Raw & Juicy juice/smoothies again… shocking! The girls working there got a kick out of Nolan asking “can you put chia (chia seeds) in mine pwease?”
Then we pigged out at Great Southern! They’re famous for their “Grits a Yaya” (shrimp and grits) and it’s no mystery why. Take my advice and eat there for each meal at least once if you visit Seaside.
After brunch, we brought home our loot from the farmer’s market and attempted naps.
The wheels are falling off the bus over here when it comes to sleep. HA! Nolan was the only one that napped… bless it all. While he napped and the girls “rested” (got up a hundred times), Ty and Cade hit the beach for some boogie boarding. They had an awesome time.
Later, Ty took the kiddos to the big park in the neighborhood (the neighborhood has amazing parks and pools) while I got a pinch of work done and relaxed.
Now we’re waiting on some pizza from Pizza by the Sea, which we’ve heard is drool-worthy!
Tomorrow, Ty’s mom comes! The kids are really excited to see their Grammy. She’s the only grandparent who is actively in their lives and so she’s a treasure to them. Neither Ty or I grew up with grandparents ourselves, so it’s such a fun relationship for us to witness. We’re excited to get to bless her with this trip and see her relax and soak up some quality time with the kids, and they’re REALLY pumped to show her every little thing!
XOXO
